Furthermore, Sky provides Box Offices movies, which are newly released films available for pay per view, similar to DVD rental, but without the hassle of leaving your sofa, or returning the product after you have watched it!

Sky Freesat
Sky launched Sky Freesat for those who didn't wish to pay monthly subscriptions, or didn't want to watch movies and sport channels. There is no monthly or yearly fee, and you will be provided with the Free to Air channels available. Sky Freesat is a good alternative for those unable to receive Freeview due to signal issues.

Sky+
Now there is no need for DVD/VHS recorders when you have Sky+! You can not only record your favourite television shows whilst you are out or away, but, if there are two programmes on at any one time, you can watch one and record the other!
And isn't it annoying when your deep in your favourite film on Sky when your doorbell or telephone rings and you miss the best bits? Not now, as you can pause, rewind and fast forward live tv, all at the click of a button! Now you will never miss a thing.

Sky HD
With the same powerful technology as Sky+ and the fantastic recording facilities, but complete with High Definition technology, providing much crispier and detailed picture quality, with vibrant colours. Sky HD is the first High Definition tv service on offer in the UK, and has since now been rivalled by BBC Freesat, and in years to come, the Freeview television service.
